2018.04.15 Little Gem

Stumbled upon this little gem on Spotify. “Be Here Now” by Ray Lamontagne

Lyrics
Don’t let your mind get weary
And confused your will be still, don’t try
Don’t let your heart get heavy
Child, inside you there’s a strength that lies (lies)
Don’t let your soul get lonely
Child, it’s only time, it will go by
Don’t look for love in faces, places
It’s in you that’s where you’ll find kindness
Be here now, be here now
Be, be here now, be here now
Don’t lose your faith in me
And I will try not to lose faith in you
Don’t put your trust in walls
‘Cause walls will only crush you when they fall
Be, be here now, be here now
Be, be here now, be here now

2018.01.02 Full Moon to Start the Year

moon

Rarely does the lunar calendar line up so precisely with the Gregorian calendar (the traditional way we measure the passing of days and months). However, we start this in total synchronicity, as the full moon falls on the first and second days of 2018. The alignment echoes the year to come: it will be the year to listen, with full courage, to our intuition, and to trust that the trials and tribulations of this past year existed as priming for the bounty that will be made available this year. In alchemical terms, we had to go through the fire of 2017 so that we could bear witness to the gold of 2018.

This full moon is known as the Wolf Moon. Energetically the moon encourages us to be ferocious about what we desire and what we want to call in. It is the perfect moon to fortify intentions for this upcoming year.
